Biden Time in Political Madness or the Little President that Can’t?

“Madness” has many definitions but the two most appropriate in a political context are: “unable to behave in a reasonable way,” and “ behavior or thinking that is very foolish or dangerous. Biden and whoever is making decisions for him are running the country in a way that makes no sense no matter whether it is the incompetent withdrawal from Afghanistan, opening the southern border to drug cartels, and then wanting to compensate those who break our law by coming into the country illegally with almost a million dollars a family. Biden simply makes no sense. He is acting foolishly and dangerously. Is he so afraid of the Squad he suffers from political madness?

Biden asks the Attorney General of the U.S. to focus on parents as “domestic terrorists.” The Daily Mail reports, at a school board meeting in Loudoun County, Virginia, a parent was arrested for speaking out about his daughter being raped in a girl’s bathroom by a male posing as a transgender.

Biden asks us how much money do we citizens want from the government. Biden is literally willing to bribe Americans today so tomorrow’s Americans can pay our bills as if ordinary Americans are willing to sell out the future of their children so they can buy a few more trinkets.

To deal with the pandemic we are told the vaccines work, then they work for a while, but if we get to 75% vaccinated, we will have “herd immunity,” “and the pandemic goes away. Now we are told we need a vaccination rate of 90% to achieve herd immunity. But if the vaccines don’t last long, does even 100% vaccination mean we can achieve herd immunity? Moreover, our “federal government” refuses to count those who have contracted Covid-19 and now have what might be permanent immunity, as having immunity. Worse our government wants anyone not vaccinated to be fired from their job in the middle of a massive labor shortage.

At the climate conference, Biden’s top priority is sleeping in public. And to show his sincerity for the climate action, he has an 85-car entourage to pollute Scotland. He even got lost walking around the White House grounds. Biden is now a caricature of someone leading the Ship of Fools, an allegory from Plato’s Republic, about a ship with a dysfunctional crew, i.e., our government which is a Kakistocracy.

How can the president prove to Americans he is not simple “Mad Joe Biden?”

There are a few issues that have significant citizen support. Successfully addressing these issues would demonstrate a look of sanity by exhibiting enough normal behavior for Americans to relax for the next three years. The three issues are:

1. Honor his oath, enforce the immigration laws to stop the invasion at the southern border. All federal officials take an oath to enforce the laws of the U.S. Biden took this oath in front of millions. Unfortunately, he may not remember it. He needs to be reminded to honor it. Allowing millions of illegals, including drug cartels and sex traffickers, into the nation, is not a benefit to the nation. Most of the illegals may never qualify for citizenship under current law or even obtain work permits. Many of the illegals will need billions in welfare to survive. A simple gesture toward sanity would be to use the already paid for construction materials to build the remaining parts of the southern border wall?

Almost 73% of Americans are concerned about the open southern border and do not believe the government can properly manage it. Currently, there is a pending backlog of 730,000 legal, citizenship applications. If the U.S. needs more citizens, it should process the backlog of legal applications so we all know who is coming into our country. The simple gesture of building the wall and processing years of the application backlog will be a sign of some sanity.

2. Tell the Squad to shove it where the sun doesn’t shine. Biden could simply work to pass the bipartisan infrastructure bill. The U.S. has a huge need for upgrading its ports, highways, airports, waterways. There are 8–10 Republican Senators who will vote for it, ensuring Senate passage. Almost two-thirds of Americans support the infrastructure bill. The problem, the Progressive will not do anything for the nation unless they get their $ 5 trillion socialist agenda, which only 10% of Americans support. This is an opportunity to demonstrate leadership to achieve what the American people want. Passing the infrastructure bill would be a sign of sanity.

3. Biden should confront reality by recognizing he must serve three more years since Kamala would be an even more worthless president. Mad Joe must accept the fact the Democrats don’t want him to run in 2024 and Kamala is even less qualified to run the nation than he is. Based on merit, Kamala could not run the use of a Lego set. So Mad Joe, accept you can live in that big, beautiful public white house for three more years. Do it in style, eat, drink, be merry and sleep as much as you want for in three years you can permanently move to your beach house, and sleep some more. Doing nothing but sleeping would be an act of Patriotism. You would avoid harming the U.S. since everything you do is screwed up. The more you sleep, the better off the nation.

The existential question — Does Biden have enough sanity to just sleep for the next three years, or is he simply, “Mad Joe Biden?”

The one thing Biden gets credit for is delivering the most honest closing line in a State of the Union address. He closed out his speech with: “Thank you for your patience.”

That sentence alone shows hope that Biden has some grip on reality. Perhaps he’s not Mad Joe Biden. He might just be what all of us perceive, “The Little President that Can’t.”
